GREEN Faculty Honored at Inventors Appreciation Banquet

Dr. Alan Mantooth, director of the GREEN and VICTER Centers as well as Distinguished Professor of electrical engineering and 21st Century Chair in Mixed-Signal IC Design and CAD at the Univeristy of Arkansas, was honored at a banquet held April 23 by Technology Ventures, the Fayetteville campus technology licensing office. In addition to being honored for his achievements while at the University, Mantooth was initiated into the National Academy of Inventors, of which the U of A is a charter member.

Also recognized at the banquet was Dr. Hameed Naseem, GREEN Researcher and Professor of electrical engineering and Director of the Solid State Laboratory at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Naseem is responsible for eight issued patents, six issued IP licenses, and one startup venture during his time at the U of A. Last year Dr. Naseem became the first U of A professor to receive Fellow status by the NAI.
